Aluminium Flexible Shaft Couplings Designed to perform where higher speeds, greater misalignment, and limited lubrication would exceed the capabilities of other couplings. Each coupling is manufactured as one piece, thereby eliminating mechanical joints and possible failure points. Two fixing styles available:,Typical applications include encoders, stepper motors, robotics, measuring instruments, servo systems, pumps, valves, fans etc., (i) Set Screw style is secured using one grub-screw per shaft (staggered at 120°) , (ii) Clamp style fixing uses one socket head cap screw per shaft. Constant velocity couplings with high torque capacity and zero backlashTorsionally rigid one-piece constructionNot temperature sensitiveHigh or low speed operation and reversibleNo lubrication requiredUp to 3° of axial misalignment allowable
Show DetailsRuland MJC51-20-A is a zero-backlash jaw coupling hub with a 20mm bore, 50.8mm OD, and 20.8mm length. It is a component in a three-piece design consisting of two aluminum hubs and an elastomeric insert called the spider creating a lightweight low inertia coupling capable of speeds up to 8,000 RPM. This three-piece design allows for a highly customizable coupling that easily combines clamp or set screw hubs with inch, metric, keyed, and keyless bores. Spiders are available in three durometers allowing the user to tailor the performance of the coupling to their application. Ruland jaw couplings have a balanced design for reduced vibration at high speeds. Hardware is metric and tests beyond DIN 912 12.9 standards for maximum torque capabilities. MJC51-20-A is machined from bar stock that is sourced exclusively from North American mills. It is manufactured in our Marlborough, MA factory under strict controls using proprietary processes.
Show DetailsRuland MCL-6-F is a one-piece shaft collar with a 6mm bore, 16mm OD, and 9mm width. The clamp style design does not mar the shaft, is easy to remove, and is indefinitely adjustable. It is commonly used for guiding, spacing, stopping, mounting, and component alignment. Equipment manufacturers benefit from the tightly controlled face to bore perpendicularity (TIR of ≤ .05mm). Perpendicularity is critical for alignment when the shaft collar is used as a load bearing face, mechanical stop, or for mounting components such as gears or bearings. Proprietary processes have been developed by Ruland to maintain superior fit, finish, and holding power. MCL-6-F is stamped with the Ruland name and bore size for ease of identification.
Show DetailsClamp Style Clamp style jaw couplings from Ruland. These couplings have a large torque capacity and a balanced design. To complete your assembly two hubs must be purchased. A jaw spider must be placed in between these couplings. Please view our essential extras for suitable jaw spider torque disks.

Show DetailsRuland Coupling The Ruland bellows coupling has a 33mm OD, 42.9mm length and 12mm x 10mm bore with clamp fastening. This is readily accommodated by any combination of axial motion, angular and parallel misalignment. It is comprised of two anodized aluminium hubs and a stainless steel bellows. This bellow is able to flex while remaining rigid under torsional loads. Its balanced design reduces vibrations at high speed. Features and Benefits • Zero backlash• Black-oiled alloy steel fasteners for strength and corrosion resistance• Precision bellows coupling with excellent kinematic properties• Maximum speed of 10,000rpm • Hardware is metric and tested beyond DIN standard for high torque capabilities • Set screw material is alloy steel with black oxide finish • Service temperature range from -40°C and 93°C• Low inertia coupling • Lightweight Applications • Stepper and servo drives• Encoders• General purpose light-duty power transmission Certifications • REACH certification• Conflict Minerals compliant • DIN 912 12.9• ISO9001:2015
Show DetailsRuland ENSP20-6MM-A is a two-piece shaft collar with a 6mm bore, 20mm OD, and 5.5mm width. The thin line design reduces weight and allows for use in confined spaces. It has the clamp style benefits of not marring the shaft, easy removability, and indefinite adjustability while commonly being used for guiding, spacing, stopping, mounting, and component alignment. Equipment manufacturers benefit from the tightly controlled face to bore perpendicularity (TIR of ≤ .002"). Perpendicularity is critical for alignment when the shaft collar is used as a load bearing face, mechanical stop, or for mounting components such as gears or bearings. Proprietary processes have been developed by Ruland to maintain superior fit, finish, and holding power.
Show DetailsRuland Shaft Collar One-piece Clamp Screw The Ruland one-piece shaft collar has dimensions of 35mm bore, 57mm OD and 15mm width. It is made from 1215 carbon steel bar with hot process black oxide, impregnated with naphthenic oil and centrifugally dried finish. Equipment manufacturers benefit from the tightly controlled face to bore perpendicularity (TIR of ≤ 0.05mm) which is critical for the alignment. It is stamped with the Ruland name and bore size for ease of identification. The collar has a clamp screw of M6x18 dimension. Features and Benefits • Lightweight• Easily adjustable• Hassel free removability• Excellent holding power• Service temperature ranges between -40°C and 176°C Applications • Component alignment• Component mounting• Loadbearing face• Mechanical stop Certifications • DIN 912 12.9• REACH certification
