A pressure plate is easily snap-fitted into the diaphragm of this clamping module by applying gentle pressure together with a twisting movement. How does this clamp work? This clamp uses a rubber diaphragm, which responds to an increase in air pressure by flexing. This then exerts force on the attached pressure plate, while the diaphragm is kept in place by a light-duty return spring.
