Mueller Crocodile Clip
The Mueller crocodile clip is designed with a wide nose which acts like a shield to prevent paint from getting on the dimpled contact point. It has more clearance and a stronger spring than most painting clips. The jaw openings are maximum 15mm apart. The material used is stainless steel 304. The current rating is 20amp. It acts as a connector. The large versions of these clips, called automotive clips or battery clamps, are made of solid copper. For low electrical resistance, it is used with thick insulated copper cables to make connections between automobile batteries.
