The Sauter hardness meter is an analogue shore D tester used to test the hardness of different types of material. This tester allows conducting comparison tests quickly and safely for determining the hardness. The different types of penetration depths are known as 'shore'. It is suitable for use with plastics, Formica epoxides, plexiglass and other similar materials.
