Molex Puck Omnidirectional Antenna, 4G LTE, 3m Cable - 211297 Series - 211297-3000
Need a weatherproof, easily mountable antenna for receiving high-speed internet and GPS (global positioning system) signals? This 2-in-1 puck antenna from Molex can be used to receive 4G LTE (fourth-generation long-term evolution) and GPS signals in the frequency ranges 1561.098 to 1575.42 MHz, 1710 to 2690 MHz and 824 to 960 MHz. The compact design allows you to easily integrate it into systems where space efficiency is essential, while an ingress protection rating of IP66 means it can stand up to jets of water.
Features & Benefits
• 3m lead length offers flexibility when building systems
• Adhesive mount enables easy fixing to surfaces
• FAKRA (Fachkreis Automobil) connectors for quick and secure installation Applications • Commercial vehicles
• Navigation devices
• Fleet management systems with high-speed data requirements What's a puck antenna? Compact, waterproof 3-in-1 External Antenna (Diameter: 77.00mm, Height: 15.00mm) Enables space-efficiency and easy integration into applications requiring IP66 protection
Compact, waterproof 2-in-1 External Antenna (Diameter: 77mm, Height: 15mm) Enables space-efficiency and easy integration into applications requiring IP66 protection
3.0m cables Extend connectivity between the antenna and the application’s 2 radio devices for their respective 4G and GPS/BD operations
3.0m cables Extend connectivity between the antenna and the application’s 3 radio devices for their respective 4G, Wi-Fi and GPS operations
Cable Connectors Allow customization with other connectors including SMA, MMCX and more
FAKRA Connectors (Blue: GPS/BD, FAKRA Model C, Purple: 4G, FAKRA Model D) Positions and fixes the antenna to the PCB (via soldering), provides electrical contact between antenna and board
FAKRA Connectors (Blue: GPS, FAKRA Model C, Purple: 4G, FAKRA Model D, Green: Wi-Fi, FAKRA Model E)
Applications
Automotive and Commercial Vehicles Telem
Remote monitoring
Navigation devices
Fleet management systems that
require high-speed data requirements Puck antennae are the type used for GPS devices. They're named after the hockey-puck-like appearance of the early (and many current) GPS antennae. What's a FAKRA connector? A FAKRA connector is an SMB-based (Sub-miniature version B) connector. It's embedded in plastic housing and can operate up to 6 GHz. A locking feature makes an audible click to let you know when the connection has been made.
