The thermal rating quoted for these heat sink is for instances of vertical installation For vertical mounting: Attach to PCB with two No. 6 self-tapping screws and stand-off washers as appropriate (screws and washers not supplied.) For horizontal mounting: On PCB use device mounting screw. The central groove on one side prevents device rotation.
