ITT Cannon Circular Connector The ITT Cannon Trident Neptune series 19-contacts female circular connector has a plug-type connection. This panel mount connector has a voltage rating of 25V and a current rating of up to 16A per contact. It is made from nylon and nickel-plated copper alloy coupling ring with stainless steel bayonet pins integrally moulded into the bodies. This circular plastic connector comes with a reversed plugs for socket contacts and metal locking ring providing the reliability.
Neptune
Based on the Trident Ringlok series, the Neptune range combines power and signal contacts. Widely used in automotive, marine and process control industries, they feature a strong bayonet coupling system with standard and reversed pin/socket combinations. A wide selection of backshell accessories, rear housings and dust caps are available. To maintain IP67 rating the rear of the connectors have a rubber seal which is pierced upon contact insertion. The seal is held in place by a screw ring (as supplied) which may be replaced with the appropriate size backshell. For IP67 rating to be maintained, wire insulation diameters should be within the following diameters: Signal wires: 1.7 to 2.7mm, Power wires: 2.7 to 4.0mm. The number of contacts shown as power/signal e.g. 2//13.
