

ITT Cannon Circular Connector
The ITT Cannon Trident Neptune series 31-contacts (19-signal contacts and 12-power contacts) male circular connector has a plug-type connection. This connector is mounted from the rear of a panel via a single D hole for in-line connections. It has an operating voltage rating of 25V with 16A current per contact. It is made from nylon and metal coupling ring with stainless steel bayonet pins integrally moulded into the bodies. This circular plastic connector comes with a metal coupling nut and bayonet retention mechanisms providing the cost and weight benefits of a plastic connector with the durability of a metal connector.
Neptune
Based on the Trident Ringlok series, the Neptune range combines power and signal contacts. Widely used in automotive, marine and process control industries, they feature a strong bayonet coupling system with standard and reversed pin/socket combinations. A wide selection of backshell accessories, rear housings and dust caps are available. To maintain IP67 rating the rear of the connectors have a rubber seal which is pierced upon contact insertion. The seal is held in place by a screw ring (as supplied) which may be replaced with the appropriate size backshell. For IP67 rating to be maintained, wire insulation diameters should be within the following diameters: Signal wires: 1.7 to 2.7mm, Power wires: 2.7 to 4.0mm. The number of contacts shown as power/signal e.g. 2//13.
Note:
Cable mount plugs only mate with panel sockets and cable mount sockets mate with panel plugs. Plugs accept pin contacts, Sockets accept socket contacts. Features and Benefits Straight body orientation
