• Factory floors How does a grease nipple work? When grease is forced through the nipple, it depresses a sprung ball bearing to allow the grease to flow. When the pressurised flow stops, it returns to a closed position, helping to regulate the amount of grease dispensed and keeping out impurities such as dirt and moisture.
