Card detect and write protect switch functions indicate card insertion and protect the data. Card polarization features ensure correct card orientation preventing misinsertion and an anti-card-fly-out feature that enables smooth extraction of the card. Dual contact power pins provide a high level of contact assurance. The terminals have an inner lead design to prevent contact stubbing and provide a reliable electrical connection.
