Sauter Sound Level Meter
The Sauter SU 130 is a sound level meter which measures sound between 30dB and 130dB. It has three measurement modes and functions: peak holds mode, track function and limit value function. The track function continually records readings throughout the measurement period allowing the user to monitor environmental changes. The limit value function is accompanied by an audible and visual alarm. The meter is used to measure noise intensity and differentiate between normal noise influences and excessive noise influences. This device comes with an RS-232 data interface and a carrying case. It is ideal for professionals measuring noise intensity in a variety of environments.
Features and Benefits
Allows user to transfer recorded measurements to a PC Comprehensive, robust and easy to handle Internal memory for measured values for 30 measurements Peak Hold mode: record the maximum detected value Track function: continually record measurements throughout the test period Three operational measuring functions Lp function: standard sound measuring Leq function: energy equivalent sound level measuring (type-A) Ln function: measures and indicates the percentage deviation from the pre-programmed target value A mode: as sensitive as the human ear C mode: sensitivity suitable for noisier environments including, for instance, machines, plants and motors F mode: sensitivity suitable for areas with perpetual sound intensity Comprehensive, robust and easy-to-use sound meter RS calibration Operating temperature ranges between -10°C and 40°C
