This thermally protected surge device has a built-in thermal disconnect function that provides additional protection to prevent catastrophic failure and fire hazards. Additional features of this LSP10 thermally protected SPD include a maximum discharge current of 20kA 8/20us, IP66 protection, indication wire lead options (for parallel connection version 827-4347) and a compact form factor of 48x48x30mm with mounting flanges. Stock number 827-4344 has a series connection which allows clear indication of thermal fault by disconnecting power to the luminaire and signally SPD moduel replacement.
