Lemo Push-Pull Self-Latching Connection System The self-latching system is simple and effective retention solution, providing complete protection against vibration, shock or any pull on the cable. Engaging the system To initiate the self-latching system the plug is simply pushed axially into its mating half. Once firmly latched in place via the internal latches the connection is virtually impossible to break. No amount of pulling on the cable or any other part of the connector body will release the two parts. Disengaging the system If the connection needs to be broken, a simple axial pull on the circular connector’s outer body release sleeve unlatches the internal mechanism.
