Show DetailsMulti-Parameter Probe with PH, Conductivity and Temperature The HI-1288 is a spare pH electrode for HI-991300 (RS 410-1400), with cloth junction, 7-pole, 2 m (6.6') cable.

The HI-1288 is a 3-in-1 pre-amplified multiparameter probe that measures pH, EC/TDS, and temperature within a single polypropylene body. The pH portion of this probe is constructed with a cloth junction, maintenance free polymer gel electrolyte, and a low temperature glass sensing bulb. The EC/TDS portion of this probe utilises two graphite sensors for an amperometric determination of conductivity and total dissolved solids. A built-in temperature sensor ensures that both pH and EC/TDS readings are compensated for temperature variations in both standards and samples. Features: Pre-Amplified pH Electrode
Amperometric EC/TDS Sensor
Built-In Temperature Sensor
Polypropylene Body
Uses a DIN Connector Applications: The HI-1288 is suitable for measuring the pH, EC/TDS, and temperature in greenhouses, hydroponics, environmental monitoring, water treatment, wastewater treatment and boilers and cooling towers.
Show DetailsA and TA (alkalinity) test kit Measuring alkalinity is important in determining the corrosive characteristics of water, mainly due to the presence of hydroxide, carbonate and bicarbonate ions, and anions that cause hydrolysis, such as phosphates, silicates, borates etc.
Alkalinity measurement is essential when controlling drinking water treatment, waste water and heating and cooling systems.
The concentration of the measured parameter is obtained by titration. The addition of a reagent causes the sample to change colour.
A = alkalinity and TA = total alkalinity.
This test kit features a solid case containing all the clearly-labelled reagents and a simple, illustrated user manual describing each step of the measurement process. Minimum Measurement: 0 mg/L
Maximum Measurement: 300 mg/L
Number of tests 110
Show DetailsFree chlorine and total chlorine test kit Chlorine is the most commonly used disinfectant in treating drinking water, waste water, swimming pools and for sterilisation in the agri-food business sector.
Chlorine present in water binds with bacteria so that only the free chlorine portion is still available to function as a disinfectant.
If the ratio of chlorine drops too low in relation to the pH, water develops an unpleasant taste and odour.
Free chlorine reacts with ammonia ions and organic compounds to form chlorine compounds.
These compounds together with the chloramines form combined chlorine.
Combined chlorine and free chlorine together make up the total chlorine.
Free chlorine has a much greater disinfectant effect than combined chlorine, whereas combined chlorine is more stable and less volatile.
These Checker Disk test kits are based on the DPD colorimetric method offering resolution and high accuracy.
Colour comparison disc changes colour on a continuous scale from very pale to very dark.
They use a reference tube and a tube in which the colour reaction is takes place.
The result is read by visually comparing the colour with the coloured disc. Use of the disc guarantees resolution and accuracy.
Stock no. 454-6926 (HANNA HI 38018)- free chlorinem 200 x Tests
