The DF33C series has a maximum current capacity of 5A when used with 20 AWG wire. The housings of these DF33C sockets feature a robust positive locking mechanism which is designed to prevent accidental unmating caused by drops or external shocks. When mated, a clear, tactile click is produced which confirms the connector is fully engaged guaranteeing a complete electrical and mechanical connection.
