The M-BS Bolt Interlock works on the principle that when the key is "free" the bolt is extended and the bolt is locked in position. The "free" key is then placed in the Isolator Switch or Key Exchange System if part of a multi key system. Once the key is in the Isolator Switch or Key Exchange System power can then be re-applied to the guarded area. Only when the key is inserted into the M-BS Bolt Interlock can the bolt be retracted - at this point the bolt is unlocked. Whilst the bolt is retracted the key is trapped. Only when the bolt is extended by turning the key can the key be released for placing back into the Isolator Switch or Key Exchange System. Manufactured in die cast metal with high mirror polished finish the M-BS Bolt Interlock is suitable for SIP and CIP cleaning processes with high pressure hosing with detergents at high temperatures.

The M-HS Single Key Handle Interlock operates on the principle that when the key is "trapped" the handle can be turned and removed opening the interlock. When the handle is re-inserted into the interlock the "trapped" key can then be removed. Once the released key is returned to the Isolator Switch or Key Exchange System power can then be re-applied to the guarded area. Only when the key is removed from the Isolator Switch or Key Exchange System and turned in the M-HS Handle Interlock can the handle be removed and the guard opened. In a die cast mirror polished housing the M-HS Handle Interlock is suitable for SIP and CIP cleaning processes with high pressure hosing with detergents at high temperatures.

The ISP-SKR is a panel mounted trapped key operated isolation switch designed to turn off machine safety circuits. The key is trapped when the main safety contacts are closed (machine able to run) and can only be released when the internal solenoid in the ISP-SKR is energised. This then enables the key to be turned and released and the safety contacts opened. The key can then be used to release other devices in a trapped key system. It can be used in conjunction with safety delay timers to allow a delay time before the solenoid is energised therefore allowing for any machine run down prior to releasing of the key. Available with Stainless Steel 316 or die cast metal (mirror polished) mounting plate and barrel housing. In addition to the 4 pole main isolator contacts, all models of the isolation switch ISP-SKR are supplied with: RED lamp wired to indicate solenoid energized. GREEN lamp for end user designation. 2NC 1NO monitoring contact block. Solenoid energised to release key .

The ISB-1 Isolation Box is the first part of the Trapped Key System and is usually on the control panel of the equipment. Available with 25A or 40A. (For 63A rating please see ISB-2). This is where the Isolator key in the Trapped Key System "lives" - when the Isolator key is "locked" in the ISB-1 power is provided to the equipment. When the key is turned and removed the power to the equipment is removed. The removed Isolator key can now be inserted in the next part of the Trapped Key System, i.e. Key Exchange Block or into a single component such as a Bolt Lock. Until the Isolator key is returned to the Isolator Switch power to the equipment cannot be restored. Manufactured with a Stainless Steel barrel set into a polycarbonate housing.
