Show DetailsStorm 700//900 Series Keypads Keypads consisting of a moulded, engineering grade silicone rubber mat secured to an aluminium chassis. Gold contacts on nickel plated GRP for long life and reliability. Key tops of the illuminated versions are lit by red or green twin diode LEDs with a voltage of 2.2V. Keys pads are lit by a single green LED with a 3.3Vdc, 600mA supply. The twin LEDs are independently addressable giving either red or green illumination. Resistors should be used to limit the LED currents to 20mA as detailed at the beginning of the Optoelectronics section. In contrast, the single colour (green) LED’s are joined together with suitable resistors, such that they are not independently addressable. Connections are by means of 0.1in. pitch, gold plated, square pin, male, locking connectors. Suitable female connectors are available in the Connectors section. A kit is available for under-panel mounting; this is not required if the keypads are mounted on the top surface of the panel. Rapid and reliable data entry
Modular design gives user versatility
Resistant to impact, vibration and shock
Illuminated versions for low-light use
IP67 rated
Ideally suited for manufacturing plants, food processing applications, medical or laboratory environments and any wet or dirty conditions
User-configurable layout via easily inserted legend tiles (supplied separately, see stk no. 198-034 typically)
