Kestrel 1000 Hand Held Wind Meter
The Kestrel 1000 series rotating vane anemometer designed for measuring wind speed. The entry-level meter provides accurate current, average and maximum wind speed readings without compromising on functionality and performance. With a fully sealed IP67 electronics enclosure the robust instrument even floats if accidentally dropped in water. Constructed from impact resistant plastic and corrosion proof materials the Kestrel 1000 anemometer is ideal for any outdoor enthusiast.
Compact in design the Kestrel 1000 utilises high precision bearings and a lightweight rotating impeller to deliver exact airflow measurements even at lower wind speeds. Microprocessor technology automatically counts the number of revolutions per second to calculate the wind speed. Final measurements are plainly shown in 9mm high digits on the liquid crystal display.
The operation is straightforward, with 3 easy to use buttons, data can be viewed in average, current or maximum displays. The buttons also provide a data hold function. Auto switch off the device, 45 minutes after the last key press helps to preserve battery life. Measurements and Features • Wind speed, Maximum Wind Speed, Average wind speed
