The StepCut is a compact, light, strong and durable tool.
The cut is comfortable, without crushing, with a gear ratio of only 160 mm.
Significantly less effort: the grooves on the blade (machined and stepped) cut the wires one after the other and make the cut up to 40% easier than with standard cable cutters of the same length!
The ergonomic handles provide an optimal cutting feel even for larger diameter cables.
The cutter cuts stranded copper and aluminium cables up to a diameter of 15 mm or Ø 15 mm or 50 mm². This cable cutter can also be used to cut rigid copper and aluminium cables up to 5 x 4 mm².
The StepCut provides a crush-free cut thanks to its powerful blades and cutting edge.
The use of a screwed hinge provides precision, leverage and durability.
This tool is equipped with an anti-pinch protection for safe working. Caution: This cable cutter is not suitable for steel wire, hardened copper conductors or wire rope.
The cutting edges are induction hardened to a hardness of approx. 56 HRC.
