The Norcomp top entry D-sub backshell used more robust design for those area that need it and fully tapped assembly holes allow easy assembly keeping manufacturing cost down. It used die cast zinc alloy type of contact material and it used nickel type of Thumbscrew supplied with backshell.
Operating temperature is -40 °C to +120 °C
