High-Performance These high-performance hearing protectors have an SNR (single number rating) of 32 decibels (dB) and built-in two-way radio communication with a clear 1 kilometre range (although range can extend up to 3 kilometres depending on conditions). Filtering Microphone You can work safely and efficiently in even the most demanding environments with these tough and rugged Peltor ear defenders. The built-in microphone is the Electret noise-cancelling (MT53) and the headset allows two-way conversation across multiple parallel channels (up to 8 channels and 38 sub-channels). When speaking the microphone will effectively filter out any background noises so they can be heard clearly. Does the Peltor Lite-Com feature ’Active’ noise protection? No, the Lite-Com does have ’Passive’ Noise Protection.
