The Infineon IRDC38064 evaluation board is a reference hardware platform designed to showcase and test the IR38064 SupIRBuck® synchronous buck DC–DC converter. It features a single non-isolated step-down output capable of delivering up to 35 A at switching frequencies of around 600 kHz. The board enables designers to evaluate real-world performance—such as efficiency, thermal behaviour, and dynamic response—under various input conditions, up to 12 V.
This board is built around the IR38064 regulator IC, which provides highly accurate output regulation (±0.5% reference), a wide input voltage range up to 21 V thanks to its integrated LDO, and programmable switching frequency (up to 600 kHz).
