Extech 42512 Dual Laser Infrared Thermometer (IR Thermometer) The FLIR infrared thermometer measures and displays non-contact temperature readings up to 1832°F (1000°C). At 30 inches, built-in dual lasers converge to a 1 inch target spot to insure accurate targeting and temperature measurement. The adjustable emissivity feature allows the IR thermometer to measure the temperature of virtually any surface. It also has a backlit dual LCD display for easy reading in low light conditions. Features and Benefits: Lock function for continuous readings
Double moulded housing
Complete with pouch case and 9V battery
Temperature range from -50°C to 1000°C (-58°F to 1832°F)
Accuracy: ±2°C or 2% of reading, whichever is greater
Response time: 0.15 seconds
Data hold - freezes the displayed reading
Min/max memory - stores the highest and lowest readings
Emissivity adjustment - for different materials
Auto power off to conserve battery life Applications The 42512 is widely used in a variety of industries, including:
Industrial maintenance - for checking the temperature of machinery, bearings, and other components
Electrical work - for identifying hot spots in electrical panels and wiring
HVAC - for troubleshooting heating and cooling systems
Food safety - for monitoring the temperature of food during storage and preparation
Building inspection helps identify areas of heat loss or insulation problems
