Traditionally the usable lens diameter of a 7x (28Dpt) magnifier would be appx.35mm. The powerlux maintains its large lens diameter of 58mm through all 3 of its powers - 3.5, 5 & 7x. Eschenbach have achieved this large field of view at 7x by using a double lens system of both aspheric and diffractive lenses.
The large lens diameters combined with an ergonomic design which provides the user with a relaxed hand position (both left and right handed) makes for maximum reading comfort and exceptional ease of use.
The illumination is provided by 2 LEDs positioned opposite each other for pin point illumination of the reading material and after 30 minutes of non-use the product will switch itself off to prolong the battery life. High level of magnification
