The EM-324-SAF is a positioning driver to be used with DC-motors, the solid state power stage operates with high efficiency using FET-transistors.Control signal can be a a voltage, 0-11V, or current from 0-20mA. Analogue feedback signal can be in the range from 0-11V. The drive also supports potentiometer feedback and has auxiliary voltage outputs of 5.5V to excite the potentiometer. The maximum accuracy available for positioning is 0.2%, exceeding what is generally required for most actuator positioning applications. Movement range can be modified from both end points with switch limit parameters. Current limits and driving speeds can be set individually for both directions. Driver includes also many other dynamic adjustment options including: load compensation, dead-zone setting (positioning window), start and stop ramps for a smooth direction change and an adjustable braking zone. The on-board LED-light indicates the possible fault situations, the fault signal can be forwarded through the combiport for external use Combiport can also be set to give 'position OK' output or re-transmit current position via analogue voltage output The drive has very low RF emissions and is suitable for use in in critical electromagnetic environments including medical For parameters setting there is 3 options: EM-236 interface unit, EM-268 with Menthol-Lite PC-program and EM-326 with Menthol-App application for smartphone
