The BT ADSL Microfilter for broadband is a phone adapter that must be plugged into all the active telephone sockets on your ASDL line which is used for plugging in telephony equipment such as telephones, fax machines, PCs and sky Digiboxes. This Microfilter ensures clean separation of data and voice signals when telephony devices are used on your ADSL line. Each Microfilter has a socket for a standard telephone plug and a socket for broadband ADSL modem. Up to 4 Microfilters can be used on an ADSL line, that is the maximum number of telephony equipment that can be connected to a standard voice line.
