Overview Very high strength and long life for heavy industrial use characterize the W24-2 product family in a metal housing. The "optical" robustness is guaranteed by a high insensitivity to stray light and by large functional reserves. The high degree of protection IP69K complements the mechanical robustness, even in a humid industrial environment. These sensors can thus be used with the standard or powerful front window heater, such as a rear window heater in a car, even outdoors with protective boxes. The various diagnostic functions make it possible to maintain the availability of the installation and to detect any operational interruptions in advance. The sensors are equipped with a minimum of different functions in order to reduce the diversity of the devices and, thus, their storage.
