Weller WR 2 Soldering Station
Introducing the WR 2 from Weller, the 300W rework station uses two channels to support two different tools. It's the perfect solution for all your soldering, desoldering jobs, with an automatic tool recognition. The WR 2 provides versatility and is compatible with a wide range of tips and accessories, also with two integrated pumps. The pumps allow the system to be independent of separate compressed air supply.
Power Unit
The WR 2 from Weller is a digitally controlled soldering station using an LCD display, that can easily track the temperatures for the tools selected. The station supports two tools up to 300W. This allows you to use two tools simultaneously and with its automatic tool recognition to avoid any delay in your work. This soldering station features an ECO button. With one push of the ECO button, the temperature will drop down to the power-saving standby mode. The WR 2 control unit has an integrated mini USB port for data logging etc.
The power unit has a temperature range is from 50°C to 500°C (122°F to 932°F), offering a great deal of flexibility for various soldering applications. The Weller WR 2 soldering station is ESD protected and offers a temperature accuracy of ±9°C. There is a 3.5mm jack plug and socket on the back of the soldering unit for equipotential bonding. Equipotential bonding enables you to be ESD safe by joining metalwork that may be earthed, to avoid any potential malfunctions from ESD.
