Altecnic Y-Type Strainers Altecnic 'Y' pattern strainers are suitable for many applications. Using the most efficient design for debris removal, utilising generously proportioned screens, this extends the period before the screen requires cleaning.
The Altecnic 'Y' pattern strainers is designed for use within commercial and domestic applications to protect control valves and other equipment and maintain system efficiency. The strainers are a WRAS approved product for use with potable water and with compression ends are ideally suited for installation in the supply to shower valves and controllers. Pressure - Temperature rating: 16 bar from 2 to 30°C, 6 bar at 110°C
Strainer mesh size: 15 mm 0.1 mm = 100 μm, 22 & 28 mm 0.4 mm = 400 μm
Body Brass: BS EN 12165 CW614N
Screen: Stainless Steel AISI 304
'O' Rings: Nitrile Rubber

Altecnic Pressure Reducing Valve The Altecnic 3/4in pressure reducing valve is specially designed for residential water systems to reduce and stabilise inlet pressures from mains water supplies. It has an F x F end connection with a gauge port. The 533 pressure reducing valves have a specially shaped diaphragm to give accurate pressure regulation in response to changes in downstream pressure. It is used in household applications. Features and Benefits Outlet pressure ranging from 1bar to 6bar
Cartridge and strainer screen is easily removable for periodic cleaning and maintenance
Low co-efficient of adhesion reduces the probability of scale deposits
Screwed iron-type G connection
Body material is brass Certifications BS EN 1254-2
WARS approved

Altecnic Series 311Safety Relief Valve The Altecnic series 311 safety relief valves are used in domestic hot water systems to protect the hot water cylinder and in heating systems to protect boiler and other components. The valve is selected for the required set pressure. As the pressure rises, when the discharge pressure is reached the valve opens and discharges to atmosphere, preventing the pressure within the system reaching levels which would be dangerous for the boiler, hot water storage cylinder and any personnel in the adjacent vicinity Temperature range: 5 to 110°C
PED category: IV
WRAS approved product
Body Brass: BS EN 12165 CW617N
Cover Brass: BS EN 12165 CW617N
Stem Brass: BS EN 12164 CW614N
Diaphragm: EPDM
Spring: Stainless steel
Control Knob: ABS Polymer
