When the contact is inserted into the housing a lance inside the housing secures it into place and produces an audible click to confirm secure locking. The contact can also be easily removed using the correct tooling. These DYNAMIC D-2000 series contacts have a twist resistant box type construction with 3 points of contact for increased electrical reliability.
