What is data acquisition? Data acquisition is an activity which samples signals, measuring physical conditions. With this unit, the results are then converted into digital values. Data is then logged on a USB or another type of storage device for the comparison of results. To explain it in its simplest terms, measuring the temperature of the concrete outside during summer with a simple device, would be classed as data acquisition.
