The Broadcom miniature handheld spectrometer AFBR-S20M2NI can be used for the full processing of spectra. The Qmini 2 NIR device has a wide wavelength range of 730 to 1080 nm and a typical spectral resolution of 0.8 nm. Broadcom spectroscopy products offer comprehensive onboard processing and evaluation for embedded solutions and mobile analysis devices. Broadcom spectrometers are the ideal choice where space is confined, besides this, they have several communication interfaces for NIR measurements. The Qmini USB spectrometer features a replaceable entrance slit and can be used with Broadcom’s slit evaluation kit AFBR-S20SK-V2 RS 220-7149 which has interchangeable entrance slit adapters to allow you to increase the spectral sensitivity.
The optical spectrometry applications include Raman spectroscopy as well as analysis for environmental, forensic and water quality. It also carries out light measurements, Process control and monitoring and is used in Quality control. The application software WAVES and the software development kit (SDK) are available to download from Broadcom’s website.
