The Semikron SKKT 57B16 E is a rugged, dual‐thyristor (SCR) module from the SEMIPACK® 1 series, designed for panel mounting. It’s configured in a series‐connected dual format, each SCR rated for continuous forward current up to 50 A (95 A RMS surge) and a high blocking voltage of 1.6 kV. The module features a hard-soldered Al₂O₃ ceramic-to-metal baseplate for superior thermal management and isolation, seven connection pins, and a compact form factor (~93 × 20 × 30 mm). It's UL recognized and RoHS compliant, with high-temperature operation up to 125 °C, making it suitable for demanding industrial environments.
